How do I censor an image?

Can I put a black censor bar over text?

Yes. Draw an area over the text and it is covered with a solid block. You can change the color in the effect settings.

Can I use blur or pixelation instead of a black bar?

Yes. Switch the effect to blur or pixelation at any time. You can also give each face a different effect.

Which image formats can I upload?

You can upload JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC images. When you export, choose PNG, JPG or WEBP.

Is the censoring permanent?

The exported image contains the censored pixels, not the original details under the bar. Keep your original file if you may need it later.

Is it free to censor images?

You can start for free in your browser. Free exports are watermarked; watermark-free results need a paid plan.
