What stays the same when you merge PDFs
Merging copies each page into a new PDF instead of turning it into an image. Text stays selectable and searchable, and vector drawings stay sharp when you zoom in. The only ordering control is the file order, so all pages of one file stay together.
Bookmarks, fillable form behavior and digital signatures belong to the whole document, not to a single page, so they are not guaranteed to carry over. Keep the original files if you depend on them. To move individual pages after merging, open the result in Organize PDF.

Frequently asked questions
- What determines the page order in the merged PDF?
- The file order in the list. Every page of the first file comes before the pages of the next one.
- Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
- No. Encrypted PDFs are rejected before processing. Save an unlocked copy in an app you trust and merge that copy instead.
- Does merging lower the quality or shrink the file?
- Quality stays the same because pages are copied, not re-rendered. The merged file is roughly the combined size of the inputs, and this tool does not compress PDFs.
- How many PDFs can I combine at once?
- Up to 50 files of up to 100 MB each, with 300 MB of input in total. The merged result has to stay under 150 MB.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Files are processed in your browser on this device and are not sent to BlurMe servers.
