Is pixelating a face better than blurring it for privacy?

Either hides a face when the strength is high enough. A mosaic shows clear blocks, so viewers can tell the face was hidden on purpose; blur looks softer. You can switch between them at any time in the editor.

Is it possible to "un-pixelate" a video censored by BlurMe?

The mosaic is rendered into the exported video, so the original pixels under it aren't kept in that file. Use large blocks so that small details such as text can't be read.
